Austin Peay State University’s College of Business celebrated student achievement at its annual Night of Honor on April 23 in Clarksville, recognizing accomplishments from the 2025–26 academic year. The evening brought together students, faculty, staff and community supporters to highlight academic excellence, leadership, service and professional growth across the college.

A centerpiece of the ceremony was the Carmen C. Reagan Award, the college’s most prestigious recognition. This award honors students whose involvement, leadership and commitment have significantly advanced the mission of the College of Business. Alongside the Reagan Award, the Night of Honor featured departmental awards, scholarships, and distinctions for student leadership, community engagement and outstanding academic performance.

The Night of Honor is designed to spotlight the many ways APSU business students contribute to campus life and the broader Clarksville community. Recipients included students who demonstrated academic rigor, those who led student organizations, and others who applied classroom learning to real-world projects and internships. Faculty mentors and advisors were recognized for guiding students toward professional success, and donors were thanked for their support of scholarships that make education more accessible.

Events like Night of Honor reinforce the College of Business’s commitment to preparing graduates for the workforce through experiential learning, mentorship and community partnerships. For many students, receiving an award or scholarship at the ceremony marked a milestone in their academic journey and a stepping stone to internships, leadership roles and careers in business and public service.

The College of Business used the occasion to reaffirm ties with local employers and alumni, who play a key role in offering internships, mentorship and career opportunities to APSU students. By celebrating these partnerships, the college underscores its mission to develop competent, ethical leaders who contribute to Clarksville’s economic and civic life.

As Austin Peay State University looks ahead, the Night of Honor remains an annual highlight that celebrates student success and the collaborative effort—faculty, staff, alumni and community partners—that helps students thrive. The College of Business will continue recognizing outstanding achievement and investing in the next generation of business leaders.
